If you look up the company information for First Class Covers, you’ll find that it is one guy operating out of an apartment in California. He claims the covers are custom made, but they clearly are not. My order took five weeks to arrive. During that time, I provided my VIN number and sent several pictures of my interior. Over those five weeks, I was told that “the material for my covers was being sourced,” “my covers were in production,” and “quality control and stress tests were being done in their facility in Tennessee.” It was all false. The covers were shipped directly from China, and the box even had a China shipping label on it.
When I received them and tried to install them, the seatbelt cutouts for the back seat did not line up. I contacted support, and that is when the battle started. Even after I pointed out that their own instructions state, “insert your buckles through the cut-outs,” he changed his story once he realized he was trapped and told me, “the seatbelt buckles lay on top of the cover, those openings are for inner attachments.”
He also pretended to be several different people in different departments, which was another lie—it is just one person. I spoke with him once by phone, and he was very rude and would not listen at all. I escalated the matter to PayPal, who denied my claim (I will not be doing business with them again either), even after I provided evidence that this seller was deceptive.
I also filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, Florida Consumer Affairs, and California Consumer Affairs. In my opinion, no one should expect a refund from this seller. Stay away. See the picture below, and feel free to contact me with any questions. As consumers, we need to make sure people like this cannot continue doing business this way and prey on others.
